We drove from Las Vegas to north, staying one night in a small hotel near Yosemite. The next day we wanted to drive through the park but found out that the road was closed in winter, so with a little disappointment we changed our route to keep going north. Then we found these two lakes. One is Mono Lake and the other one is unknown. Sometimes a loss may turn out to be a gain.
